Rock Against Racism – NI bands unite!

10436010_678370012218474_5956444317198993418_nSome of Northern Ireland’s finest bands are to unite for a charity gig in the Limelight on 20th June.

Owing to the recent prevalence of racist attitudes, and the marked increase in racist attacks across NI, on Friday June 20th, The Limelight will present a very special fundraiser for The Northern Ireland Council for Ethnic Minorities.

This gig will help raise funds for what is a great charity that helps those from ethnic minorities living in Northern Ireland. This is a non religious, non partisan event designed to offer support and as a show of solidarity with those from other cultures living across the country. But apart from that, it’s a great excuse to come down and check out some of the best talent this country has to offer for what is a very reasonable ticket price. All proceeds will go to NICEM.

Headliners AND SO I WATCH YOU FROM AFAR will be joined by some of Northern Irelands most popular rock acts, including THE ANSWER, MOJO FURY, KASPER ROSA and GENERALFIASCO, who are set to reform for a one off acoustic set at the event. Many other acts are still to be announced.

Tickets, priced £10 + Booking Fee, go onsale Monday at 3pm from Ticketmaster outlets. All proceeds will be donated to Northern Ireland Council for Ethnic Minorities.
