The Beards set for Belfast return

Interview_ The BeardsAustralian rockers The Beards are set for a beardy return to Belfast on 11th December 2014.

After three records the beard fanatics are set to tour with their fourth album ‘The Beard Album across Europe and throughout the UK and Ireland. With the band’s blend of music and comedy refined to perfection, and an actual hairy CD cover to boot, it’s an album that will unite the beard community globally, and encourage legions of clean shaven men and women to release the facial hair dormant within them and join the glorious beard revolution.

In the tradition of The Beatles’ White Album and Metallica’s Black Album, the release of The Beard Album promises to be a career-defining move from music’s hairiest quartet. “We’ve convinced a lot of people to grow beards over the years,” claims vocalist Johann Beardraven. “Now, not only do we get to check how their beards are going, but with our new ultra-catchy beard-related tunes, we’re confident that we’ll be able to inspire a whole new level of beard-growing, right across Europe.”

The Beards play Dublin’s Button Factory December 10th before travelling to Belfast’s Empire Hall on 11th December 2014. Tickets on sale now.
