Moira Calling, a music festival based outside Belfast, have confirmed their full line-up after announcing Eliza and The Bear as headliners for this year.
Organisers of Moira Calling have just revealed the acts that will be hitting the main stage at this year’s festival.
Now in its second year, Moira Calling, which takes place on Friday 8 & Saturday 9 September, has upped the stakes from last year, delivering a Main Stage line-up of seven acts, that organisers promise will have the Armagh countryside reverberating.
Headliners on the Festival Main Stage on Saturday 9 September will be the acclaimed euphoric indie folk quintet, Eliza and the Bear, with Flyte, Emerald Armada, Girls Names, Stomptown Brass, Brand New Friend and Franklyn completing the Main Stage Magnificent Seven.
With the line-up for the All the Little Lights second stage still to be announced, Moira Calling is shaping up to be one of the top NI music festivals of the summer.
Organiser Jillian Marsden, from Brown Lemonade, said they were thrilled to be able to present such a diverse main stage line up which includes Eliza and the Bear and Flyte, who are both making their first appearances in Northern Ireland.
“Last year when we started this we could never have imagined being here a year later, with a full-blown music festival and a host of top acts on our hands. This is great news for Moira and for local music. We hope that this line-up proves that you don’t necessarily have to go to Belfast to find world-class entertainment. In fact, you should probably be coming to Moira! We hope these seven acts wet people’s appetites for Moira Calling, and we can’t wait to announce our second stage headliners very soon.”
As well as two stages and a feast of local beer and food produce on Saturday 9 September, early ticket buyers also get a mystery “Free Friday” into the bargain!
The acts for All the Little Lights Stage will be announced shortly.
