Irish four piece GANGS emerged in 2013 as a fresh faced, hard-hitting rock n roll force to be reckoned with. Within a short space of time they received major accolades from the likes of Hot Press, who branded the young Dublin band as ‘Hot For 2013’ in their annual ones to watch feature.
For a young band, GANGS have already racked up a number of impressive accolades and have had the fortune of gracing the stages of Other Voices Dingle and Derry respectively. Now fresh from a short stint over in London, having played such prestigious venues as The Dublin Castle, GANGS have turned their attention back home to Ireland.
The upcoming Irish tour, kicking off next Friday the 11th, will cover all corners of the country with gigs in some well known venues such as De Barras (Clonakilty) and The Twisted Pepper (Dublin). Keeping with the bands love for doing things differently, the Irish tour will incorporate a one of a kind gig in the world’s oldest functional lighthouse. The Hook Lighthouse gig will be an exclusive and intimate show with only 50 tickets available (inc. camping).
The tour will be punctuated with a number of key Irish and and International festival appearances. The most notable of which include The Great Escape and Vantastival. More dates are being added regularly.
