OPEN HOUSE FESTIVAL: Ciaran Lavery
Hailing from the small Irish village of Aghagallon, alt-folk troubadour Ciaran Lavery channels the quiet despair of isolation into expertly crafted songs of beauty and meaning, as shown perfectly on his celebrated debut album, Not Nearly Dark. Along with two greatly received EPs, You Will Be a Stranger Now and The Maker of Things, Ciaran captivates an audience effortlessly with his astonishing passionate voice.
As part of this year’s festival, and with full band in tow, Ciaran proudly unveiled his brand new EP, Kosher. We sent our photographer Jude Malone down to capture the night in photo.
