Cara Dillon Announces UK Autumn Tour

Cara 2014 (3) smallerCara Dillon has announced shows in Ireland as part of her latest UK tour.

Cara Dillon, one of folk’s leading lights, is set to go on tour this autumn for 9 UK dates including a show at the Islington Assembly Hall and shows in Belfast and Dublin respectively. Dan Tyminski will be the support for all dates in October.

Taken from the acclaimed album ‘Thousand Hearts’, new single ‘Bright Morning Star’ (featuring vocals from Timothy B Schmit from the Eagles) is currently riding high on the Radio 2 playlist with Cara also confirmed at the Cambridge Folk Festival in August.

Supporting Cara for the October run of shows will be very special guest Dan Tyminski, a member of Alison Krauss’ band Union Station. Most recently Tyminski also featured on the global, million selling hit ‘Hey Brother’ for Swedish electronic dance artist, Avicii.

Cara Dillon will play Belfast’s Waterfront Hall on 11th October before visiting Derry’s Millennium Forum on the 12th October.
