Go kicks off What Floats Like Flies in a delightful fashion, mixing strong vocals and rhythmic guitar with a memorable chorus – the perfect combination. A band with only two years under their belt, Into You sums them up for me. Gripping and catchy melodies with breakdowns in the right places.
They’re not quite heavy rock, despite some juicy guitar licks, and haven’t reached punk, despite the array of power chords but a wonderful cohesion of genres, with That’s How It Goes even kicking off with a country rock before finishing like a set-closer. Off Beat doesn’t pack quite the same punch as penultimate track Suffocate but finishes well to sum up this widely-appealing act’s diversity. Mark Dunn, GiggingNI.com
