Hermitage Green have announced their first ever Belfast show at the Limelight 2, Belfast on December 5th 2014.
Famed for their energetic live performances, Hermitage Green have been touring relentlessly since their formation in 2010. The five-piece started out as a spontaneous jam session between friends and soon developed in to a strong acoustic outfit with an original sound for which the band have credited their contrasting musical tastes.
Hermitage Green’s Darragh Graham spoke of the bands delight of playing Belfast “We’re very excitied to play our first Belfast gig. It’s going to be the first show of our December tour coming of the back of a month of writing the new album.”
Hitting the live circuit, they quickly won over legions of fans and selling out shows in Ireland, the UK, France, the Middle East, South Africa, the US, Canada and Australia, racking up in excess of five hundred live shows. Their sold-out extensive Australian tour featured many highlights, including playing Sydney Harbour on Australia Day.
So far in 2014 Hermitage Green have continued their relentless touring schedule around the globe including sell out tours in New York, London, Vancouver, Czech Republic and a nationwide tour of Ireland. The band are currently demoing songs for their first studio album to be recorded early in 2015.
