AVICII announces special Marlay Park show


AVICII has been announced to play Marlay Park on 3rd July 2015 alongside Rudimental.

Avicii is one of the most in-demand and elite artists on the planet. His last Irish appearance at Vital in Belfast last summer sold out 37,500 tickets.

Since 2008, Avicii has risen from bedroom music-maker to international superstar. Some of the awards he has received include Best Electronic Act at MTV  European Music Awards 2013, World’s Best Electronic Dance Artist at The World Music Awards 2014 and Top Dance / Electronic Song at Billboard Music Awards 2014 . Avicii’s second album True was released last December. Last week it was confirmed thatAvicii’s hit single Wake Me Up was the most ‘Shazammed’ track of all time.

Rudimental’s platinum selling debut albumHome, has spawned five huge hit singles (including two UK Number Ones with Feel The Love and Waiting All Night), seeing them shift over three million singles worldwide, while their highly acclaimed videos have racked up over 183 million views on their YouTube channel.Waiting All Night alone has clocked up over 100 million streams on Spotify. Rudimental have also toured the world and smashed it at every festival worthy of the name, including The Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury and Longitude last summer.

Tickets priced €49.65 inclusive of booking fee and go on sale at 9am Thursday 18 December from Ticketmaster.
