REVIEW: Rebekah Wilson – Reprieve

0013_800Reprieve, the new EP by Rebekah Wilson is a delightful dichotomy of hard and soft.

Delicate vocals dance on the electric edge of tracks Nothing (You & Me), and Reprieve weaving haunting guitar and pounding drum.

Imagine cools it down some moving from guitar to piano, yet even this seemingly benign instrument gets put through the paces culminating in the same haunting melodies stitched together with sentimental lyrics and sweet voice.

It’s a little bit pop, and a little bit punk; think PVris or Paramore; and is utterly enjoyable. Noelle Ellis,
