Downpour of world class comedy set for Belfast

Alan Carr has added a fourth date (Sunday 29 November) to his Comedy Club run at Belfast Waterfront.

It’s going to be raining world class stand-up at Comedy Club at the Waterfront and Ulster Hall over the coming months!

And while every cloud has a silver lining, the outlook is for pure comedy gold as not one, two… but eight of stand-up’s latest, greatest stars will be drenching audiences with their best gags, routines and hilarious observations.

Comedy fans should catch the smash hit new show from Daniel Sloss (Thursday 24 September) – Scotland’s internationally acclaimed and award-winning comedy, half-man-half-Xbox! Daniel has already sold out seven consecutive Edinburgh Fringe seasons and has made a big splash on primetime TV shows like Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Russell Howard’s Good News.

Hilarious world-class stand-up also comes in the shape of Jimeoin on Saturday 24 October. His ever-evolving live show is a fluid mixture of his signature observations, with a hawk eye dissection of the absurdities of life and how we live it. The internationally acclaimed master has brought laughter to our TV screens, but nothing beats seeing him live!

Ruby Wax’s new show (Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 November) is based on her critically acclaimed book, Sane New World, which helps us to understand why we sabotage our sanity with our own thoughts. The much loved US born comedian, actor and writer will show us how to rewire our thinking to find calm in a frenetic world and how to become the master, not the slave, of our own minds.

Hilarious and often shocking, Pam Ann: Queen of the Sky (Thursday 12 November) is the ‘world’s favourite international air hostess.’ Her caustic wit knows no boundaries and a turbulent flight is guaranteed as she delivers an unrelenting barrage of ‘shoot-from-the-lip’ observations!

Twenty years ago Al Murray: The Pub Landlord (Wednesday 18 November) embarked on his one man mission as the King Cnut of Common Sense, holding back a tide of bottled beer and ‘nanny state nonsense.’ Join Britain’s favourite publican (and politician) as he celebrates this milestone on the Comedy Club stage!

The phenomenally popular Alan Carr has just added a fourth date (29 November) to his Comedy Club run at the Waterfront. The BAFTA and British Comedy Award winning comedian and chat show supremo is returning to his stand up roots with his hilarious and unique take on life!

Canadian comedy star, Stewart Francis (Tuesday 1 December) has brought his own special brand of stand-up to worldwide audiences, performing at international festivals from Montreal and Aspen to Edinburgh and Glasgow. His ‘perfectly crafted gags’ will bring tears of laughter to the eyes of his Ulster Hall audience!

Limited tickets are still available for queen of comedy, Sarah Millican – she’s not appearing until 10 June next year but fans should book now to be sure of securing their seats!
