Megadeth, Lamb of God & Children of Bodom set for Dublin

megadethMegadeth, Lamb of God & Children of Bodom will perform at the 3Arena in Dublin on 9th November 2015.

Formed in the early eighties, Megadeth will celebrate their, yet to be named, 15th studio album, by stopping off in Ireland this year as part of their European tour.

A pioneer of the American thrash metal scene, the band is credited as one of the genre’s “big four” with Anthrax, Metallica and Slayer, responsible for thrash metal’s development and popularization. Megadeth plays in a technical style, featuring fast rhythm sections and complex arrangements; themes of death, war, politics and religion are prominent in the group’s lyrics.

Alongside Megadeth will be Lamb of God, who tour with their new material “VII: Sturm und Dran” set for release on 24th July, and Children of Bodom, whose  new album “I Worship Chaos” is out on 2nd October 2015.

Also playing on the night are Sylosis who complete the line-up for no doubt the biggest metal event on the Irish calendar.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am priced from €49.65 – buy yours here.
