Singer-Songwriter David Corley is set to bring his Indiana Blues to Bangor as part of there Open House Festival from the 26th to the 27th of August.
Performing tunes from his internationally acclaimed debut album ‘Available Light‘ Corley will be playing at venues all over Ireland. He will be accompanied by his producer Hugh Christopher Brown as well as the rest of his band for these exclusive shows. His album has received rave reviews and earned him comparisons to Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Lou Reed and Leonard Cohen.
Releasing his debut album ‘Available Light’ at the age of 53, Corley worked alongside Canadian and multi-instrumentalist Hugh Christopher Brown. Despite being 53 Corley has been described as someone who sounds as though they have been in the studio for decades. His album which is a product of a 30-year cross country odyssey of self exploration, drawing on experiences from his childhood, living on a horse farm, travelling the country and the time he spent in a remote cabin in the mountains.
