Veteran West Coast surrealist band Deerhoof headlined the Black Box last week, excellently supported by Irish artists So Cow and Washington, D.C. band Wild Love.
Deerhoof’s live shows are known for their minimal gear, maximal volume, and surrealist banter. Since their formation in 1994 in San Francisco they have self-produced their records and self-managed their career.
Their most recent record La Isla Bonita was released in November 2014.
Our photographer Paul Woods was there to capture the evening in photos.
