Former Boyzone member Keith Duffy has joined forces with Westlife’s Brian McFadden to form new supergroup ‘Boyzlife’. On 31st October 2016, they will perform in The Hilton, Belfast.
Middle aged women and boyband obsessives unite – your time has come. Nineties heartthrobs Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden have announced via The Sun they will be embarking on a UK tour kicking off in October.
Mere speculation had been circulating of the two boybands joining after Boyzone’s Shane Lynch had tweeted a photo of them together.
However, dreams were crushed and tears were shed when Westlife’s Shane Filan dismissed the rumours in an interview while in Belfast last year.
But fear not – dreams can come true. We may not get back the tank tops and drastic blonde highlights, but those lucky enough to get tickets will for sure be treated to a mix of both bands’ biggest hits.
In a press release to The Sun, Duffy revealed “Brian and I have been talking about this for a while so it’s really exciting to finally be able to reveal Boyzlife. We can’t wait to get out on the road and reconnect with our fans, taking a trip down memory lane.”
There was also hints that other members would be open to joining the supergroup, with McFadden explaining “We could end up adding more people to the next one. Right now this is about me and Keith but the door is always open.”
So folks, dig out your cowboy hats, dust off your greatest hits albums and get ready for the boys to play Belfast on 31st October in The Hilton.
Tickets can be purchased from 9am on 8th March: buy them here.
