Scottish trio Fatherson are pleased to announce they will be joining US band Augustines as the guests on their final tour of the UK and Europe, playing at the Empire Hall on 28th October 2016.
The tour kicks-off later this month, and includes a very special show at London’s 02 Academy Brixton on 18th October. To coincide with the forthcoming live dates, the band will release a new single ‘Wondrous Heart’, together with a video shot during a busy summer of festivals that included T in the Park, Reading & Leeds, Bestival and Belladrum in the Scottish Highlands.
The single is taken from the band’s second studio album ‘Open Book’ released on Easy Life / Sony Music earlier this year that features previous singles ‘Just Past The Point of Breaking’, ‘Lost Little Boys’ and ‘Always’ – all of which have had considerable support at the likes of Radio 1, Radio X and Amazing Radio.
The album was recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Wales with producer Bruce Rintoul (Twin Atlantic, Eliza and the Bear) and was mixed by Adam Noble (Placebo, Nothing But Thieves, Don Broco).
In addition to the Augustines’ support tour, Fatherson are set to complete an incredible year with their biggest ever headline show to date, at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom on Friday 23rd December.
Tickets are available for purchase to Belfast show here.
