5 Gigs Not to Miss in Belfast this March

5 Gigs Not To Miss This March

We’ve been well truly spoiled since the turn of the year for great gigs. Most recently, Blossoms sold out the Limelight, Gavin James wowed the crowd at the Mandela Hall and Taking Back Sunday returned to our shores more than six years after their debut in Belfast.

It’s the last week of March and since there are a few beauties coming up, we thought it best to recommend a few:

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes – Oh Yeah Centre – 21st March 2017

When speaking to Frank in January, he told us, “Performances are what I’m best at, it’s always been what I’ve been best at. I just get on stage and do what I do”. Safe to say, anyone who has witnessed this man live is almost certain to have a ticket to this sold out performance.

Russian Circles – Empire Hall – 23rd March 2017

Formed in Chicago in 2004, Russian Circles have steadily fought their way to the forefront of the progressive, post-rock scene. Having toured for many years with everyone from Boris and Isis to Tool, RC have earned their place through hard work and a dedication to craft.

Run The Jewels – Limelight – 29th March 2017

This is a show that many are looking forward to, proven by it’s sold out status. The American rap supergroup caused mass excitement when this was announced back in January. Unfortunately if you haven’t got a ticket, you’re not going.

Stormzy – Limelight – 31st March 2017

Whether he’s performing alongside Ed Sheeran or on stage performing to his own thousands, this man has rose to fame and has become one of the biggest names in the United Kingdom. Yet another sell-out for Belfast.
