The Double and Coke, the new EP by Les Pantalons is an expertly produced illustration of indie rock.
Wooden Foot the prize piece with its gritty vocals pulling from the bluesy depths and on up into the frothy punk riffs. A sophisticated cocktail of a combination of The Clash and Kasabian. Bad Moods though at times feels familiar, sets itself against any pretense or formula.
Energetic riffs counter nicely against hard-edged vocals. It’s also worth noting I’m glad to see a return to cool album cover art.
