Mark Lanegan Band to play at the Mandela Hall
Mark Lanegan Band will perform at the Mandela Hall, Belfast on 5th December 2017. It’s in support of the recently released Gargoyle, which The Guardian declared a “career high”
Since 1990, Mark Lanegan has released ten solo studio albums, gaining much critical acclaim and gathering a loyal audience.
Mark Lanegan began his musical career in 1984, forming the highly regarded grunge band Screaming Trees. He remains a sometimes member of Queens of the Stone Age and is featured on five of the band’s albums—Rated R (2000), Songs for the Deaf (2002), Lullabies to Paralyze (2005), Era Vulgaris (2007) and …Like Clockwork (2013). Lanegan also formed The Gutter Twins with Greg Dulli in 2003, and has released three albums with former Belle and Sebastian singer Isobel Campbell
Along the way Lanegan has also collaborated with many of his peers, including with Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain, Martina Topley-Bird, Creature with the Atom Brain, Moby, Bomb the Bass, Soulsavers, The Twilight Singers, Unkle, Melissa Auf der Maur, and Mad Season
