Welsh band The Alarm set for Belfast in 2018
Welsh alternative rock / new wave legends The Alarm are pleased to announce a headline Belfast show at The Limelight 2 on Saturday April 28th 2018.
The Alarm will embark on their Blood Red Viral Black European Tour 2018, their first major tour of Europe in over a decade. This will also coincide with the release of the new studio album ‘Blood Red Viral Black’ which features all new Alarm tracks written by lead singer and founder member Mike Peters.
Fresh from recent festival appearances at Glastonbury, Isle of Wight and Vans Warped Tour in the USA, The Alarm will be performing a European setlist that will also feature classic tracks from the band’s illustrious history – ‘The Stand’, ‘Sixty Eight Guns’, Strength’, Spirit Of ’76’, ‘Rescue Me’, and more, including a 30th Anniversary performance of the band’s perennial ‘Rain In The Summertime’. The group have just completed a massive 45 date tour of the USA with many of the shows selling out, creating a surge of affirmative reviews, enhanced by the North American release of feature length film – Man In The Camo Jacket, which was premiered at the prestigious Grammy Museum in Los Angeles on August 3rd and tells the remarkable story of love, hope and strength that is Mike Peters and The Alarm.
