Ten Irish acts to perform at ESNS in Netherlands

It’s the start of a new year and Music from Ireland are delighted to be kicking off their 2018 Music from Ireland export programme with Eurosonic-Noorderslag in The Netherlands. This year, 10 acts from across Ireland have been selected to perform at the prestigious showcase festival – SOULÉ, BITCH FALCON, DERMOT KENNEDY, DAVID KEENAN, JAFARIS, ROBOCOBRA QUARTET, ROSBOROUGH, SEAMUS FOGARTY, ROE & RYAN MCMULLAN.

Nine of the ten acts will be traveling to the festival with the support of Music from Ireland funded by Culture Ireland while SOULÉ has been selected under the EBU programme and will be supported by RTÉ 2FM.

ESNS is one of the most important dates on the international showcase festival calendar. Every year, the festival presents showcases by more than 300 artists and attracts over 4,000 delegates from over 400 international festivals. ESNS is the festival where festival bookers go to find the next big thing and is renowned for helping acts break into the international music scene. All of the Irish acts selected will each have the opportunity to perform to an international audience of music lovers and professionals. Four Hard Working Class Heroes 2017 alum are among those selected for ESNS 2018. SOULÉ, Bitch Falcon, David Keenan & ROE all deservedly attracted the attention of ESNS booker, Oskar Strajn, when he saw them perform at this year’s HWCH.
