Do you approve of taking videos at shows? Here’s what you said.
Last week, we asked you a question.
Do you approve of taking videos at show? We’ve all been there. Standing behind someone who is just taking a video of song after song. Or that person could be you? We were keen on your opinions.
Here’s what you had to say: (final poll below)
If someone wants to pay their money for a show and spend all evening viewing it from behind a screen then that’s their lookout, PROVIDED it DOESN’T interfere with mine OR anyone else’s view or enjoyment of the show! Just my own personal perspective!

Yes, But only clips not keen on even full songs

The odd 10-15 second clip of your favourite song by all means, however, just don’t understand people who basically watch the whole gig through their phones

A section of a favourite song is fine but an entire gig is pointless. Just enjoy the show.

No just for the fact nobody wants to watch horrible quality video where you can’t make out any music clearly and from a bands point of view we wont use the video anywhere unless it’s done semi-professional at least.

I said no, but that’s from the aspect of being tiny and not being able to see the actual band past people’s arms and phones – so frustrating.
