Nights to Remember with the Ulster Orchestra

Fancy a journey to Middle Earth, a trip to Jurassic Park, or even a stay in the Bates Motel? Join the Ulster Orchestra this Halloween for an evening of some of the most iconic film scores from over a century of cinema.

Our perennially popular ‘I Love the Movies!’ night takes place on Saturday 27th of October in Belfast Waterfront, launching our exciting Pops Series for the 2018/19 season. Themes from Jaws, Harry Potter and Indiana Jones fill the night with Hollywood adventure, with a few surprises guaranteed to have you hiding behind your seat…

That’s not all. The New Year sees our annual salute to Burns Night on Saturday 19th of January, with an evening’s worth of jigs, reels and, of course, the poetry of Robert Burns himself. This has become a fixture in the cultural calendar, the ultimate celebration of the cultural links between Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Internationally renowned guests and soloists will join the Ulster Orchestra for a celebration of Irish Music on Saturday 16th of March. With all your folk favourites, traditional airs and a few surprises thrown in for good measure, it’s the hottest St. Patrick’s Weekend ticket going.

Finally, Saturday 27th of April sees our salute to the decade that style forgot! The Ulster Orchestra performs the ultimate 80’s mixtape, featuring the songs of Queen, Bonnie Tyler and the Weathergirls. Get the gang together for the Time of Your Life, with a special VIP package available if you’re looking to make a night of it!

Our Pops Series concludes on Saturday 11th of May with the Orchestra’s very own journey to the Grand Ole Opry. From the classics of Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton through to the new Nashville hits of Lady Antebellum and Keith Urban, we’ll be playing both types of music – Country and Western!

So what are you waiting for?! Whether it’s for you or a special gift, book tickets now for these glittering nights of orchestral music. Available online at and 028 9033 4455.
