Wynona Bleach to support Alice in Chains on Irish leg of tour

Belfast-based Alternative rock band Wynona Bleach will support Alice in Chains on their sold out Dublin (Olympia Theatre) and Belfast (Telegraph Building) shows on 20th and 21st of May 2019. The support announcement comes ahead of a release of “Sugar” – the second single from their EP of the same name.

Wynona Bleach formed in 2015 under their previous name of R51, where they self-released critically acclaimed EP’s such as “Pillow Talk” and “NO CHILL” and embarked on a 12 date Russian tour covering 6500 miles.

Since changing their name in 2018 they released the EP “Sugar” and made a number of live session appearances on BBC Radio as well as generating viral, word of mouth airplay through BBC 6 music, KXLU and KEXP in the USA. They are no strangers to big shows, performing at Reading and Leeds festival, a televised Ulster Hall show with SOAK, Divine Comedy and Therapy?, and have previously supported Feeder, Slow Reader’s Club and Lonely the Brave.

However, these shows are the band’s biggest and most exciting yet, performing for two sold-out 1600 capacity venues with their heroes Alice in Chains.

More information on the band can be found on website.
